What does LB do upon the glass?
Tailoring the dimension(up to 24-inch viewing area measured diagonally), regular shape, irregular shape, thickness (0.55mm to 15mm), ink hole (camera hole for example), glass cutout, and glass step by CNC. Regarding the glass step, optical bonding two layers glass together is also good method.
Personalizing different colors silk-printed on the glass, usually on the rear side, for the border, for the logo, for the text and etc. It makes the glass looks more beautiful and it helps marketing your brand or purpose with your logo or text. Besides, IR ink is often used for special purpose and anti-UV ink is often used for products installed outdoors under direct sunlight.
Glass strengthening technologies include chemical method and physical method. Usually, the thickness from 0.55mm to 2mm is chemically strengthened and thickness from 5mm to 15mm is physically strengthened. Physically strengthened glass is called safety glass, as it scatters to small pieces without sharp edges when it gets broken. Chemically strengthened glass has better optical performance than physically strengthened glass.
Customizing the surface treatment (AG and AR treatment) is to enhance the optical performance. Anti-glare treatment reduces glare based on diffuse reflection, and the light reflections go in the many different directions, as the glass surface is chemically etched to make it rough. Anti-reflective treatment is to reduce the light reflection and it can improve the light transmittance to 96%, or even 98%.
Customizing the antibacterial-coated tempered cover glass is able to better protect touch screens or displays. We sinter the antibacterial surface coating onto the glass surface during manufacturing. 99% viruses are killed on the surface. You are safer with LB’s anti-bacterial cover glass.
