LBR5W121010 is a 5-wire resistive touch screen overlay for widescreen display panel with aspect ratio 16:10. It is a standard 5-wire resistive touchscreen olverlay with fast delivery, as it is often off-the-self. Regarding its layers, it is 0.188mm thick matte ITO film taped bonded on 1.8mm thick bottom ITO glass. The connecting interface is a 5-pin-housing with 2.54 pitch. If necessary, a USB controller board from EETI is for option. It is recommend for industrial applications or medical devices.

1. High Touch Sensitivity: No matter you are using a finger or stylus or gloved finger to touch on the top surface, even a heavily glover finger, it can detect the touch command easily.
2. It responds fast, within 10ms.
3. It is immune to EMI, electronmagnetic interference that may cause wrong touch due to electrical noise. This is a projected capacitive technology touch screen overlay can not meet so easily. This is one of the most important reasons that single-touch resistive technology still often used widely.
4. Cost-effective compared with PCAP touch technology.
5. Compared with 4-wire resistive technology, it is 10 times longer life time. Even the top layer of this 5 wire resistive touch ovlery gets damaged, it can still work for some time.

Main Differeces Between Resistive Touch Panel and Capacitive Touch Panel
1. Resistive touch panel overlay supports single touch, while the capacitive touch panel overlay supports multi touch up to 10 points.
2. Resistive touch panel overlay is an ITO film on the top with 3H surface hardness, while the capacitive touch panel overlay is a strengthened cover glass on the top with 6H surface hardness.
3. Resistive touch panel overlay works with force touch on the surface to make the top layer contact the bottom layer to report the touch point and you can get the resistive touch work by finger, stylus, gloved-finger, even thick-gloved-finger, even with much water on the surface. While the capactive touch panel overlay works with gentle touch on the top layer to report the touch point by the change of capacitance on the exact touch position.
4. Resistive touch panel overlay is immune to EMI, while capacitive touch panel is difficult to pass EMI test, especially medical grade EMI test.
